A Pawn Surrender
Rose Hotel
This relatively unknown US based Alternative / Indie release has really hit the spot for me. Lush beautiful vocals with a solid melodic lofi Indie sound.

The Trinity Session
Cowboy Junkies
This was recorded in a church with a single omnidirectional microphone and all the players strategically spaced around it for an epic reverberant sound.

Love Over Gold
Dire Straits
I had an OG release of this that I upgraded to the MoFi vinyl. I like this release enough to warrant the extra $$$ to get the best version.
What an epic, timeless release from 1982.

This Is Music: The Singles
The Verve
I saw the Verve in concert. Everyone has heard Bittersweet Symphony, but the truth is that every song on this release is awesome. Falling somewhere bet Alternative Rock and Shoegaze, with elements of Psychedelic Rock, Space Rock, and Dream Pop. Every one of those genres I love, so you can see why this band really suits me.

Doom (Original Game Soundtrack)
Mick Gordon
Anyone who has played the timeless 2016 release of Doom has heard the crunchy goodness of Mick Gordon. This is a form of instrumental Industrial Metal with some electronic elements any agressive guitar.

Escape From Evil
Lower Dens
I could say that if you like Beach House, you might like Lower Dens, though Lower Dens is a bit more on the electronic side the the pure Dream Pop of Beach House. And it's interesting because both bands come from Baltimore, Jana Hunter (Lower Dens) and Victoria Legrand (Beach House) are friends, and have toured together.

Heaven Or Las Vegas
Cocteau Twins
The Cocteau Twins is dream pop with a little shoegaze and gothic rock influence. All genres I love independently but this band really pull them all together. Everyone has heard Cherry-Coloured Funk but the entire album is great.

Rush
This Rush release is different and special. R30 tour was the last time I saw them, and they played a lot of this album. It's all cover songs from their early heyday with Rush giving the songs a unique spin. This is low on synths and heavy on guitar, so it's a little more aggressive than many other Rush albums.
