Always Eclectic. Mix of Electronic / Industrial / EBM / Punk / Outsider Folk / House / Disco-Funk / Soul.
Now.
Apolitiq
Sonically dense. It's a story, like experiencing an alien invasion through a 1st person found footage film, edited down to a half-hour. First 3 tracks, you're smack-dab in the middle of it, attempting to get your bearings. Last 2, retreating and seeing the world differently. Styles vary between vocalists, but fit each track well. Underlying theme seems to be the nature of chaos. Given the context, 'Breathe' becomes quite dark yet stunning.

Elsewhere VXIII
Various
Outsider world / drone / folk / krautrock / electronic comp. Weirdly unique and even beautiful stuff. It's one that rewards patient listeners. Haven't been much of that lately. But when I have is where those picks came from.

You Like THX1312? Name 3 Cops That Should Be Dead
THX1312
Flurries of vocal samples reminds of early Hip-Hop. Such inspiration could be taken from Public Enemy's early Bomb Squad era, and Double Dee & Steinski's sample-heavy 'Lesson' releases. Slower than most the Speedcore and "Gabber-Punk" tracks, 'Already Undead (Cut My Head Off)' showcases well the tight-knit sample use to expect.

Bottles / I'm Only Little / Anytime Anyplace Anywhere
Neon
'I'm Only Little', a Punk / New Wave high energetic track. Fun and belted vocals, set for the rowdiest part of a bar night with a voice so distinctly rough but plays melodic like it's own lead synth; an almost synth-like acid guitar two-note loop, soloed over with a more standard guitar sound; and a damn good bass line! This track get tons of repeats.

It’s a Weird Place
SMFORMA
EBM with Darkwave /Coldwave influences, especially in her cold vocal delivery. 'Blue Romance' is the moodiest of the lot, and the one I keep coming back to play over again. Those dimmed synths are bleak and create their own little otherworldly world. Dark, but not horror. Rest of tracks keep the vocals but soundwise lean towards more standard EBM, with their own twist.

Tell Me (What You Gonna' Do)
Pandella
Instrumental Dub a solid pick for varied cross-genre throwback sets. Main synth even sounds a bit Industrial EBM-ish. Groovy slower track with samples, hits, & percussion elements coming and going, replacing each other. Great House music for early night sets. Not nearly as fast, but kind of works somewhat near other picks on this list, if you can hear it; Bottles by Neon; Blue Romance by SMFORMA.

(You) Keep On Making Me Hot
Busta Jones
Slick, groovy bassline, stop-&-go funk guitar riffer, slow tempo groover, and yes, hot as hell! This is one to get close with your honey, body to body, raise the temperature. Or a low tempo mover for roller skate jam outs. Oh yes, and there's a sax. You don't need much but a groove and direction for this to be hot disco-funk to keep in your crates!

Mama Lied
Phil Gentili
Gem of an "oldie but goodie" back-of-the-caddy baby making music... or a heartfelt song about the signs-of-the-times. But that groove's gonna lay you down, and the horns, present but not overpowering. The voice is as solid as any charting crooner of the time. Still, if only I had the instrumental. Add the long version to your mixtape/playlist.
