Today I pulled out some Slade off the shelf, having just been reading an article on the 50th anniversary of their great film Slade in Flame. I'd seen Slade a few times and always enjoyed, personally I think they were far heavier than Motorhead who in my opinion made Ted Nugent more of a middle of the road band, controversial statement possibly but my opinion.
